Download Turbotax 2010 For Mac
Will I be able to download the MAC compatible software for free when it becomes available? I used TurboTax before on my MAC so I did not check to see if I was compatible before ordering because I presumed that it would be compatible, as in the past.
I've used TaxCut software by H&R Block for many years. Free 360 video player for pc. In 2012, the 2011 taxes were so crazy with my W2 job, several 1099 forms from freelance work, and my partnership in a LLC. It was just too complicated for TaxCut to handle correctly. I was on the verge of paying an accountant to fix everything up for me when I decided to give TurboTax a try.
Wow, i'm glad I did. It worked fine. None of the issues I had with importing the K1 forms or 1099s. Also generated my LLC's 1065 just perfectly. I'll definitely get TurboTax for my 2012 taxes this year. I had bought the CD version from another store. Unfortunately it didn't work on the Mac Yosemite OS so I purchased a digital download from Amazon hoping that they would have an updated version of the software.
Unfortunately it was the same as the CD. The software will NOT INSTALL properly in Yosemite; the state forms will not download and a number of other forms like Schedule C are missing. I had to call Intuit (several times as not all reps are aware of this issue). Finally I got a rep who knew about the problem and she installed gave me some updates to get it working Software is fine. Not the most intuitive but the walkthroughs are helpful.

It was an absolute pain to get a refund for this. I had to call Intuit and send them all the information. Then you have to wait 6 -8 weeks before they send you a check (which never arrived).
