I do this with a mixture of IMAP and POP mail accounts from different providers. Then once in a while, I select that account and catch up on what has come in over several days. How do i set up rules for mailboxes on a mac. I have like nine or ten accounts and this is getting a bit unmanageable even though I am on IMAP Also I want to start using RSS and this seems like it has even /less/ sync because it doesn't use IMAP? I am sort of struggling with the fact that while IMAP /manages/ my email in a synchronized way there are all sorts of other things such as rules and signatures that I have to set up two or three times in the case of having my iPhone. Some I don't check very often.
Like many of Microsoft’s other Office applications are extremely powerful that have many ‘hidden’ features. I stumbled on the Analysis ToolPak when I took an quantitative analysis class for my Masters program. Once I enabled the add-in and learned how to use the tools it provided, I have not used any other statistical tool except perhaps Minitab, but then I use that for the more complex analysis. The problem with the Excel add-in is that it is not loaded by default, this quickly became a problem for the professor teaching the class because he had to walk everyone through the process of enabling the powerful add-in.
The Data Analysis ToolPak and Solver add-ins are not available in all Microsoft Excel for Mac versions. The following table shows which Excel for Mac versions include these add-ons. The second group is designed to work as a standalone data analysis package. There is indeed life beyond Excel, and perhaps the demise of the Data Analysis Tool Pack will help you discover new data analysis software that you wouldn’t know about otherwise. Microsoft Excel has a built-in suite of tools that perform regression analysis and calculate statistical data. These tools are generally installed but are not active. I recently updated my Microsoft Office from 2008 to 2011 for the sole purpose of gaining data analysis support to do statistical calculations in Excel. However, if I were smart, I would have researched this version and would have found out that there is no data analysis toolpak for Mac Excel 2011.
